In the center was the Xerox Theatre, where visitors viewed a short film on the historical growth of graphic communication among peoples. To the right were stairs leading down into the Children’s World, with its maze, little theatre, and colorful books. Behind the theatre there were displays on micrography and satellite communications. The Library 21 visitor entered a total environment that could not have been more compelling if she had been teleported into the real future. It fired the imagination.
