Passing into the second circular space, visitors saw the Learning Resources Center on the left. There were study carrels designed for individual study, model "quest" spaces (14). Students were able to supplement conventional resources with equipment such as a closed-circuit television, telephone, Auto-tutor, and dual-channel tape deck, all within easy reach. Nearby were the Memo-tutor, microfilm reader-printer, phonograph, radio, Speed Reader, Flash-X, and microcard readers.
