Entering the first circular space, visitors saw the six tall panels of the Sperry Rand Univac Solid State 90 Computer curving along the left-hand wall. In the center were a printer and desks for filling out computer queries. To the right was the Ready Reference Center, with its reference collection and staff, and a Xerox 914 copier. Just beyond was the Adult Reading Area, with a collection of 800 books, attractive lounge furniture, and a display case housing the facsimile Gutenberg Bible.
